NYHEDER

The artworks for the exhibition at three stations under Funen Police have now been delivered and put up.

It is wonderful to add a bit of colour to the walls.

The international exhibition Stati d'arte has opened in Spello near Perugia in Italy. A fantastic opening celebration with hundreds of visitors and exhibiting artists from large parts of the world. The exhibition runs until the end of August. I am participating with the work “Frands' Choice”, which symbolizes the choices everyone makes throughout life and, indeed, every single day.

The exhibition at Fyens Stiftstidende has now come to an end. It has been a pleasure. Thank you for that!

EASTER EXHIBITIONS:

BØRKOP: Parish Hall. 2 April - 5 April

YSTAD, SWEDEN: “OSS GUBBAR EMELLAN” 3 April - 12 April

Thank you for the invitation to exhibit at both exhibitions. I am looking forward to it.

The exhibition at Lemvigh-Müller’s headquarters in Herlev has now been launched.

I am pleased to have the opportunity to exhibit so many works across four floors. The exhibition runs in November and December.

Thank you for that!

 Galleri Anna Fjord in Lemvig.

I am very much looking forward to it.

Thank you for the invitation, Anna :-)

Hope you will stop by Galleri Anna Fjord!

I am currently exhibiting at JBT Marel in Aarhus. Many thanks to the art association for inviting me to your fantastic venue. The exhibition will be on display until December 20.

From September 28 to November 3, I will be participating in the Autumn Exhibition at MISSISSIPPI in Thy. Feel free to stop by!

Thanks to the publisher Frydenlund for once again including me in this year's edition of 101 ARTISTS

Take a look at the wonderful text that art journalist Tom Jørgensen (from Kunstavisen and Jyllands-Posten) has written about my paintings.

Thanks to the publisher Frydenlund for including me in this and next year's edition of 101 ARTISTS

I am incredibly happy to be part of 101 ARTISTS 2023/2024. I waited with great excitement for art journalist Tom Jørgensen (from Kunstavisen and Jyllands-Posten) to describe my paintings. And when I received the first draft of his text, I was completely surprised. It was not what I had expected. I thought it would be a much more CV-oriented text about my paintings and about me. But wow, Tom can write in a way that creates images. Thank you for that, Tom. It is hoped that visitors to this website will take the time to read his text and, in their imagination, embark on a journey to Italy. PS: The book can also be purchased at various bookstores.

Artwork of the Year “It Is Dangerous to Lean Out”

and the Well Done Award went to HTH

Thanks to Business Vejle for the assignment to create this year’s artwork that accompanies the Well Done Award, which this year went to HTH Vejle. And warm congratulations to HTH.

The painting contains messages about the choices that everyone, both individuals and companies, face every day.

When looking out at the day ahead, or perhaps at the future, there is a choice between being negative just to be on the safe side, or deciding that it will be a really good day or future to look forward to. This is symbolised by the lemon SOUR and the orange SWEET.

Another message is that when leaning out, there is a risk of ending up in a storm. That is why many hold back instead of showing the courage to make a difference.

I am very happy that my artworks are now being presented by Galleri ART'M.

The selection of my artworks they have for sale can be seen on their website ARTcompaz.dk.

“SPOTLESS”

...is about how, for many people today, the demands placed on themselves are simply too high. Perhaps this is especially true for the younger generations. At least, it seems more pronounced or more openly expressed in these generations.

Perhaps it is due to digital communication, which is of course a great benefit, but for many can also be the place where they measure themselves against an ideal image that no one can, or should, live up to in reality.

With a focus on the younger generation, and also many in the artist’s own generation, the work “Spotless” is about how no one goes through life without stains. Everyone has flaws and everyone makes mistakes.

So take the first step out of the darkness and acknowledge the stains you carry, or the stains you will inevitably create on your journey through life. Because it is actually those stains, or mistakes, that make people better — provided they learn from them.

As the legendary basketball star Michael Jordan said: “I've failed over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

There is a hope that the viewer will appreciate both the image and the message.

Vernissage

On Thursday, December 1, a cozy vernissage was held for the latest painting “UPLETFRI”. Many thanks to HOP Group and to all the wonderful guests who showed up.

The painting was commissioned by HOP Group as the first in a series of annual works in a new tradition, where a new artist each year will present an interpretation of HOP Group and the values it represents. The painting has been reproduced as 150 numbered and signed posters.

Thank you for allowing this fantastic new tradition to begin.
